Clustor is a good application which is designed for solving simlutaion problems like this Drug Simulation. The advantage of Custor was that it automated the scheduling process across the 15 machines, and was quick and simple to set up. Before, we needed to change the parameters inside the input file (injsys.dat) and run it in the window platform. With Clustor, only a single plan file and a skeleton file were required, and jobs were automatically allocated to available computers .

A limiting factor on this project was that there were only 15 machines available (only 15 were eventually used). A shared NFS was also necessary to run clustor and the real power of Clustor to schedule jobs over many machines was not tested.  A small glimpse of its true potential was visible, even on 15 machines.  Clustor makes it simple and convenient to set up simulations with changing parameters and run them in the most efficient time possible with the available computers.
