The task of polynomial model selection is to find a set of variables with direct influence to a given target variable. It is a combinatorial problem involving one single program to be run using a number of possible selection methods and data sets.

Clustor links a number of computers into a network that can run multiple jobs in parallel. Given a set of parameters and command lines to perform, Clustor creates a complete set of jobs by parameterizing the command lines at run time and distributes these jobs to a cluster of computers in a parallel fashion. This case study shows the use of Clustor in solving the task of polynomial model selection.
