• Preparation!
  
  
• Always do a practice run
  
  
  • In the room you will be using
    
  • With precisely the same equipment
    
  • Even if you have used similar equipment before
  
  
• If you're relying on technology
  
  
  • Be prepared for the technology to fail
    
  • Have a fall-back position
    
  • Don't be thrown by it
    
  • Remember, everyone in the audience has probably had technology fail them
