The use of privately owned computers is restricted to portable computers registered with CSSE Technical Services.
The computer must be registered with its own network address. Please email tech@help with a brief description (eg Make, model, speed) of the computer, the network outlet and the room in which it will be used. A network address will be subsequentlyissued.
The DNS name for the computer will be "laptop-<user>", were "<user>" is the owners CSSE username.
The computer may only be used in accordance with the acceptable use policy of Monash University (see IT Use - Students and/or IT Use - Staff and other Authorised Users).
