E1 Travel Policy

Academic and full time research staff are entitled to a minimum allowance of $5000 per year to support travel to E1 rated conferences. In special circumstances the head of School may authorize a higher amount. Full time research staff are included even if they are funded by external grant income.

PhD students are entitled to a maximum of $6000 to support travel to E1 conferences during their candidature. Students doing Masters by Research will need to apply for approval from Head of School and it is entirely at the discretion of the Head.

Note: As of Thursday, 18 October, 2001, all overseas travel must have the approval of the Associate Dean (International). Refer to Ron Webber's email.
