Departmental seminars are held regularly throughout the year (typically once a week). We consider these to be part of CSC417 Communication and Research Skills, therefore your attendance will be checked and you are require to attend 20 seminars over the course of the year. Similarly, attendance at the interim and end of year honours project symposia is mandatory.
