NetSpy takes the first step on the road to filling the whole left by existing network analysis tools. Despite the fact that in many cases the existing tools can do a better job of analysing the networks themselves, NetSpy allows the ability to monitor statistics about general services on the computers.
Time will tell how effective NetSpy is as an analysis tool, however the goal of implementing a system that allows the visualization of general statistics about the computers in a network was achieved.
