The Referring list is like an index page showing who has got what;
it contains the Cindexes from different servers.
Each server corresponds to a record in the Referring List, and each of these records has the following format :
ServerName: <related Web server name>\000Keywords:<keywords><CR>
Records are separated by a CR.

ReferList can be placed anywhere in the filesystem,
as long as the Search Program and
the Collector know the proper path to it.
