Food

Food articles are the simplest type of living thing in the simulation. Food has an age limit, and once that limit has expired, the food is removed from the environment. Food also has a health value. This indicates the health gained by an agent when it consumes the food. The food may either be nutritious--have a positive health benefit--or be poisonous, reducing the agent's health. Food can be scattered over the world periodically by an appropriate interaction, or dropped by a dying agent.
