Tab Panel

The Tab panel contains controls and status information for the left (the top Tab Panel) and the right (the bottom Tab Panel) hosts in the simulator. The different tabs available in the Tab Panel (see above) are listed below.

• Command Tab - Issues commands/displays messages from the host's TCP.
• Delay/Loss Tab - Shows delay and loss conditions recently experienced by TCP segments sent by this host.
• Avg. Delay/Loss Tab - Shows the average delay and loss experienced for all TCP segments sent by this host.
• Queues Tab - Shows the TCP segments in the transmission, retransmission and propagation queues for this host's TCP.
• Timers Tab - Shows the active TCP timers for this host's TCP.
• Segments Received Tab - Shows the segments received but not processed by this host's TCP.
• Variables Tab - Displays the flow control algorithm specific variables selected previously here. Users can view and edit the values of these variables.
