Results

This section shows current results of the project. I have tested the reconfiguration of a network topology when a mote fails or drops out of range. This testing was performed by using the TinyViz simulator found in TinyOS. A sample application in the TinyOS distribution was used for the test. Below is a screenshot of the simulator with a number of motes organised into a network.

The next screen has a node deleted and the motes have reconfigured the network topology and are still communicating.

This is the limit to the testing I could perform due to not getting the mote hardware in time. Future work will include getting the mote hardware and testing remote reconfiguration which is now supported in TinyOS.
