Scientific research and statistical analysis are commonly assisted by computer visualisation techniques to assist in a more rapid understanding of the data being analysed. When the number of variables in a data set increases many techniques fall short.
Using OpenGL, this project investigated extending an existing technique of multidimensional data visualisation (Star Plots) in the hope of adding further dimensionality to it, making it useable on higher order data sets. Also, it attempted to make a new visualisation style that maps as many visual attributes to the datas variables as possible, without adding confusion to the visualisation.
