Note, in the Simulated Annealing (SA) phase, the effect of using MRFs will cause the pixels to be clumped together, and after the SA phase, the means and variances are estimated again, and as the means converges to their optimal values, the effect of the fuzzy-ness dissappears where the segments resemble more of the original image.
