Abstract:

This is a PRELIMINARY bibliography of publications in the journal Parallel Algorithms and Applications (CODEN PAAPEC, ISSN 1063-7192), published by Gordon and Breach Science Publishers (Yverdon, Switzerland). Publication began with volume 1 in 1993. Volume 11, number 1-2, is expected to appear in May 1997.

The journal has a Web site at

http://www.gbhap-us.com/journals/728/728-top.htm At present, these sites contains subscription information and future publication schedules, but alas, nothing about issue contents.

This journal is not covered by any of the major bibliographic databases: Applied Science and Technology, Biosis, Compendex, IEEE INSPEC, MathSciNet, Medline, OCLC Article1st, OCLC Contents1st, UMI Index, Uncover, or Zentralblatt fuer Mathematik.

Instead, data for this bibliography has been recovered by searching bibliographies on the IEEE Computer Society 1995 and 1996 CD ROMs, which contain the full text of 16 IEEE journals, and by searching Internet Web sites for bibliographic references to this journal.

In about half the references found, the journal is incorrectly cited as ``Journal of Parallel Algorithms and Applications''.
