Author Comments:

The bibliography was set up originally for students starting work on their thesis. They often were confronted with remarks like: "This can be found in the Eckmann Ruelle Rev. Mod. Phys. paper..", "Compare what Smith and what Ruelle have said about the number of points necessary to estimate fractal dimensions". "Mayer-Kress has edited a volume on that..". By using a bibliography program or simply a text editor they could search for the reference proper. As time went on the entries were supplemented by keywords.

The bibliography is by no means comprehensive or complete. It reflects research interests of our group. These are mainly time series analysis and it's mathematical foundations. We also include introductory papers, tutorials and research papers with focus on the nonlinear dynamics of dissipative systems and applications of the theory to various fields like medicine, economics, engineering.

The bibliography contains about 6079 references as of May 5th 1995 ----- and most probably will be full of errors.
