Background
From 1975 to 1991, Ms Bhattacharjee worked in the industry and performed R&D in the following areas: Operator training simulators for power plants; ship handling and radar traffic control; industrial process control for large steel plants; airborne and land-based ruggedised defence systems. From 1992, she has been with Monash University as a lecturer.
She conducted the following ARC funded research projects: 1993, Hardware implementation of digital stochastic feature maps; 1994, Implementation of hybrid analog digital competitive neural network.
