About RUUG
The Reasoning Under Uncertainty Group (RUUG) was formed from smaller research groups within the recently formed School of Computer Science and Software Engineering. RUUG is an identified research strength within the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash Unversity. In the last 5 years, the group has attracted 11 large ARC grants for a total of $1,500,000 and 7 small ARC grants for a total of $75,000. Currently 5 large ARC grants are held by members.
There are 17 graduate students in our PhD programme and 5 undertaking a research Masters degree.
Many members have a successful record of research contracts with industry and collaborative research research is an increasing activity. Most members serve on program committees and have organized local or international conferences or tracks. All are international referees.
