Practical and Tutorial Class Allocations
This is the Computer Science and Software Engineering internal
allocation system. It is not part of
Allocate+.
READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY
The following subjects are allocated using
Allocate+ and are not
managed by this system. Visit the Allocate+ web site and
register a class preference as soon as possible.
- CSE1101 Digital Technology I
- CSE1301 Computer Programming
- CSE1304 Professional Communication and Presentation
- CSE1308 Digital Logic
- CSE2306 Digital Logic.
The following subjects are allocated using this system and are not
managed by Allocate+. Allocation for these subjects begins
at noon February 21. You cannot register class preferences; classes are
allocated randomly. After allocation you may use this system to select
another class time.
- CSC2030 Formal Methods I (see note below)
- CSC2040 Algorithms and Data Structures (see note below)
- CSC2240 Computer Architecture (see note below)
- CSC3240 Computer Architecture (see note below)
- CSC3181 Data Communications and Computer Networks (see note below)
- CSE1401 Introduction to Software Engineering (see note below)
- CSE2101 Digital Design I
- CSE2111 Electronics for Digital Systems
- CSE2131 Fundamentals of Digital Signal Processing
- CSE2201 Software Engineering Practice
- CSE2303 Formal Methods I (see note below)

You can find out your weekly schedule for your subjects by visiting
the personalized
student schedule page.
If you enrolled after February 18 you will need to see your
Assistant Lecturer to be added to the system.
CSE3141, CSE2391, CSE3391 do not have labs or tutorials.
Notes for specific subjects:
- CSE1401:
- Your laboratory classes occur once every two weeks. Your group (A
or B) determines which weeks you have laboratory classes in. You cannot
change between groups.
- CSC2030/CSE2303 and CSC2040/CSE2304:
-
These subjects each have fortnightly alternating laboratory and tutorial
classes. Your group (A or B) determines which weeks you have laboratory
classes in. If you are doing both subjects, your group (A or B) for these classes must be the same. Your
laboratory classes should be at the same time as each other. Your
tutorial classes should be at the same time as each other. You cannot
change between groups.
- CSC3181/CSE3318:
- Your laboratory classes occur once every two weeks. Your group (A
or B) determines which weeks you have laboratory classes in. You cannot
change between groups.
- CSC2240/CSC3340/CSE2324/CSE3324:
- Your laboratory classes occur once every two weeks. Your group (A
or B) determines which weeks you have laboratory classes in. You cannot
change between groups.
- CSE2395/CSE3395:
- Your laboratory classes occur once every three weeks. Your group (A,
B or C) determines which weeks you have laboratory classes in. You cannot
change between groups.
This system permits checking and changing classes from
12 noon, February 21, 2000
until
March 10, 2000.
