People are
very good at finding patterns in pictures but not so good at absorbing
information quickly from screens full of numbers. Information Visualisation
aims to turn information into pictures. The information may be about things
that have many attributes and could therefore be regarded as being represented
by points in a high dimensional space.
To turn this kind of information into pictures we need to project from a
high dimensional space into a 2 dimensional space. This project will investigate an approach
which takes trianglse of points in the higher
dimensional space and 'glues' the triangles onto a 2D plane.
