This week's lecture will investigate writing for the Web from two perspectives, General Principles and Specific Assignment Advice.

1) General Principles looks at:

2) Specific Assignment Advice looks at:

For 2), four language and structure exercises will be conducted during the lecture.

    1. Conceptualise material as a set of screens
    2. Keep scrolling to a minimum
    3. Structure information for scannability
    4. Keep language plain and precise.
