FIT5900 : Ex. 3 Effective Navigation

Create three HTML pages, each with different background, text, active link, visited link and unvisited link colours.

In choosing your colours ensure:

On each page, place a heading and a line or two of text. (The content can be anything you like.)
Each page should also have a title placed within <TITLE> tags. Why is this needed if the page already has a heading?

Design and implement a means of accessing the three different pages sequentially using

  1. Standard hyperlink/anchors
  2. Frames and a text-based table of contents
  3. Frames and an image map
  4. (Advanced - look ahead to JavaScript notes) frames and a JavaScript roll-over menu
