ENS explores the abstract notion of an entity via the virtual space of three
dimensional computer generated animation. My aim in this work was to present
a poetic relation between symbol, algorithm and image. I attempted to explore
the correlation and similarities of the unconscious and computer spaces. The
work expresses a symbolised, unconscious space drawn from observation and dream.
Production was funded by
the Australian Film Commission and produced at the Video Paint Brush Company
(Melbourne). Versions are available on 16mm film, 3/4" U-Matic, BetacamSP
and 1" (both
NTSC and PAL).
