Comment | This picks up over 3m Google hits, but it does not seem to be covered in my references. Too obvious for such attention, I guess; however, the novice would appreciate a promotion.
The meanings which I have used are, maybe, a little basic, but they seem to fit. There is support for promotion because the site already includes similar expressions, for example:- そうすると (exp) having done that; if that is done; if it is done in that way; (P) P.S., I refer to my submission for "何ぞ" and your comment "If the kana form is more common, it is indicated by a "uk"; not by putting the reading in with the ekanji versions." With the evidence justifying the kana reading, is it the case that I should now re-submit with the "uk" indicator, or will that be done by someone else? In any event, I shall remember that for next time. |

Comment | This gets some 87K Google hits. It appears in my dictionaries. Roy Miller 48(5) also confirms reading.
Its promotion would help. P.S., With regard to my submission for "飛びかう" and your comment "飛び交う is already an entry", will the existing entry now be amended to show this usage so that a search for "飛びかう" will give a result? Or do I have to make a fresh submission based upon the entry "飛び交う"? |

Editorial Comment | Re 飛びかう/飛び交う, I have amended the 飛び交う to include 飛びかう. (It's a good idea to check before submitting new entries.) |

Suggest Xref with 峠を越す which provides a clearer explanation of the figurative meaning of the expression. |
