Editorial Comment | I think that's too specific. I'll add "penetration, e.g. surface water into an aquifer". |

Headword 1 |
Part-of-speech | n |
English 1 | Tourist bus with high seating for better sight-seeing. (wasei: High Decker, High Deck Car) |
Cross-reference |
Comment | 'Decker' made it into the language from 'double decker' busses, yet high deckers are 'single decked'. I don't think you would refer to it as having a 'high deck', though, in EN |

The Tanaka sentence?
An odd thing here. The dictionaries (GG5, etc.) say 脚がつる, 足がつった, but in Google hits 足をつった is far more common. In modern usage turning つる into a transitive verb? |
Headword 1 |
Reading 1 |
Reading 2 |
Reading 3 |
Part-of-speech | n |
English 1 | house guest |
English 2 | (euph.) free-loader |
Reference | The Anthy IME only accepts しょっかく for converting to 食客;
WP JP limits itself to しょっかく and しょっきゃく: Suggest reading order change. Perhaps X-ref with 居候? |
Comment | I can see いそうろう (居候) creatively applied to 食客 as reading (gikun?), but it seems very rare, hence the order change. |
