Comment | Re: Francis: "There is clearly a difference when "ため" is followed by "に" from when it is not so followed. "
There isn't. In factual, encyclopedic and technical writing particles in grammatical constructs like 〜ため(に)、〜とき(に)、〜あげく(に) etc. are often dropped, along with other slight differences such as linking sentences with the -masu stem alone (and だ -> 〜であり、〜く for i-adjectives). As a result this style is more compact and authoritative, but there isn't any inherent difference in meaning. I see some of us are still having some trouble parsing the given example correctly. Let me try one more time: 強い "is strong/powerful". What is strong/powerful? 見方が強い "the viewpoint is strong". 〜は見方が強いためである "〜 is because the viewpoint is strong". 〜は見方が業界で強いためである "〜 is because the viewpoint is strong in the industry". 〜は市場は先手必勝との見方が業界で強いためである 〜 is because the viewpoint (that 市場は先手必勝) is strong/powerful/influential/prevalent in the industry. |

This mixes two different expressions. I have made it:

Comment | Removed the Translation (English, etc.) 1 definition of "unobjectionally" as no such word exists in English, it being a forced back-translation. Replaced it with "all out" (which I made the no.2 choice because it's perhaps a little less formal than "fully"). |
