The hiragana gloss dictionary "KD" contains the following entry: のがある (exp) worthy of (attention, admiration, concern, etc.); ; KD Is there a way to indicate that that particular gloss applies in rare cases to the otherwise common nominalizing expression 〜のがある? For example, by adding a note to the effect that the phrase in question is normally used as a nominalizing expression? (In fact, i've come across similar items at other times, so i have the feeling there are several such expressions in KD where the gloss that is offered may in _some_ cases apply but _usually_ doesn't. Is there a way we could have a look at the whole KD collection to pick out the obvious items to which my comment applies? |
