Electronic Telegraph (ET).

12/4/95: Here is a reply from the Electronic Telegraph (ET) [registered service mark!] concerning the use of its articles. Note that as of 4/'95 you have to register to read ET, although there is no charge, and that all access to articles is via cgi-bin scripts, presumably for gathering statistics etc. The motoring articles are mostly under `features' on Tuesdays (try the `archive').

re the www
| Is there any mechanism by which I
| can place an anchor to an ET page in one of my www pages
| and have other people be able to follow
| that link on the www? [ie. without them registering]
'Fraid not.
| Alternatively can I copy an ET page
| and link to the copy, with acknowledgement?
You may use copy for non-commercial/personal use as long as it carries acknowledgement including the lawyers weasel words about being a registered service mark.
