Position: Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Information Technology
- I am currently a Professor and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of IT, at Monash University
- Previously, I spent 3 years as the Head of the Caulfield School of IT.
- Before that I spent 6 years enjoying post-doc life as a Logan Research Fellow at Monash University
- And even before, I spent 2 years as a research fellow at both Monash and the University of Melbourne
- And a long, long time ago, I spent 4 years doing my PhD and having fun at the Clip Lab

Interests: I am part of the Optimization and Constraint Solving research group with particular interests in the following
- Constraint/Logic Programming Languages
- Combinatorial Solving and Optimization
- Program Analysis, Compilers
- BioInformatics
- Parallelism and Automatic Parallelization

Projects: Some current and past research projects include the following
- G12- Constraint Programming Platform: a
software platform for solving large-scale industrial combinatorial optimisation
problems. Funded by NICTA.
- PoPS: a software tool that models the specificity of
any protease by allowing the user to characterise important parameters
of this interaction.
- SingleAminoacidRepeats: a software tool for the study of single amino acid repeats in proteins.
