Admission requirements for Australian residents

The minimum entry standard is satisfactory completion of 
VCE or equivalent.

Prerequisite units 3 & 4: Math methods, English with a 
grade average of D

Applications 

Applications for full-time and part-time study are to be 
made through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).

Hong Kong "A" level 		16*  Maths Year 12

To calculate the entry score please note:
A grade =10 points, B = 8, C = 6, D = 4, E = 2.  
Add points for 3 subjects.

Undergraduate students must satisfy University English requirements
by meeting one of:

1. Language

English is the first language or English was the
language of instruction in studies completed or
satisfactory achievement in secondary or tertiary studies
already completed in English in an English speaking country.

2. TOEFL

Achieving a score of 550 or better on the American test of English 
as a foreign language (TOEFL) and a score of 5 or better on the 
test of written English (TWE).

3. IELTS

Achieving a test score of 6.5 or better on the international
English language testing service (IELTS) test,
including a score of 6 or above in each individual band.

4. Australian Year 12 English Examinations
(VCE, SAME, TEE etc)

Achieve a satisfactory pass in the examination.



Students who do not meet any of the above requirements can underatke an 
intensive course in English in Australia and sit for TOEFL or IELTS and 
achieve test score as required.


Applications

International students currently studying VCE should apply through VTAC.
All other internationals tudents should apply through Monash International.
