4) Special Monash University Research Fund (SMURF) Proposals
"Distributed Systems and Software Engineering Centre" won a grant of
$125,000 (announcement by ADR, 19 dec 97). The Faculty and
Distributed Systems Technology Centre Pty Ltd committed substantial
further funding ($150,000 and $200,000 proposed respectively). These
commitments may change as the requested amount of $185,000
was not granted.
