Land-Rover Stage One.
The Stage-1 was what Land-Rover should have produced 10 years earlier -
the first Land-Rover with some power and a reasonable cruising speed.
Indeed many private owners had converted 4cyl and 6cyl S2As and S3s
to more powerful 6cyl power, and even V8 power using a variety of
engines including Rover sedan and truck V8s.
As it turned out stage-1 was a precursor for the 90 and 110.
